Well they talked the whole time and we never got a chance to go back to the class! Anyway, I learned I need to have a parent with me to get a library card because I'm 17 :'(
The presentation lasted forever and Mrs. Jones and the librarian got into it about senior project requirements, which was pretty funny. I learned that I can go to cape fear and use their library anytime for free, unlike uncw.
It was really long because they tried to make jokes the entire time! I did learn about "Points of View" though. It is a large database of current events that relate to specific topics.
I couldn't believe the presentation lasted that long! You have to pay $15 to check materials out of the UNCW library, but you can use them for free while you are in the library.
My attention span was running a little low there at the end. I had to run to my fourth block class because the presentation went to the bell and then I had to go upstairs to get my stuff and then back downstairs to class so I was late, but my teacher is chill so he didn't much care.
I learned that UNCW probably has the best resources out of any of the libraries...besides the checking out costing a bunch of money! But the printing and copies are free which is a plus!
In the classroom I was engulfed in Frankenstein. I basically devoured every page and just when I was close to finishing a chapter, Mr. Motley stole me away to assist with SCA. I put all your homecoming papers in a folder then stapled your name on it!
From the presentation I learned that NClive is going to help me a lot furring senior project because you can look up any type of article and it can give you a work cited source layout
I think I just got a mentor out of that presentation! Nice! Oh and UNCW parking is going to be tough if I want to get to their library. Thankfully my friend Kat Voli (I believe she was in your class last year Mrs.Moon)goes there so I canjust visit the library if I need to when I'm with her.
